Important Information about your Homebuyer Counseling Worksheet & Application
1. Accuracy is critical when completing the Worksheet. It will help if you have the following items with you while completing the form: your last 2 paycheck stubs and your bank and credit card statements from the past month.
2. Your credit report is one of the most important elements in establishing your home purchase capacity. If you already have a Tri-Agency Credit Report from the last 90 days, you may submit the report with your completed Worksheet but the $40 processing fee still applies. This report will also supply you with your FICO scores. FICO scores have been established to set an industry standardized credit grading system.
3. Please make sure to complete both sides of the Worksheet and to sign it at the bottom. Please note that this signature is only your authorization for First Home, Inc. to run a tri-agency credit report by Factual Data.
4. The Bay Area Home Buyer Agency and its partners respect your privacy. Your information will not be shared, sold, or traded. The Bay Area Home Buyer Agency will only use your contact information to send you program updates, newsletters or other materials relevant at your request. You can opt-out of our mailing by contacting us.

Pay the $40 Credit Report Processing Fee using PayPal.

Simply follow the onscreen instructions to process your payment. Once your payment is processed, be sure to print out the confirmation receipt. You will need to mail it in with your Worksheet.

If you'd prefer not to pay online, skip to step 2 and include a check for $40 made payable to "First Home, Inc." with your completed Worksheet. You should also skip to step 2 if you already have a Tri-Agency Credit Report with FICO Scores run within the past 90 days.
